Announcing: Katrina 10 Identity & Website
Jun 10, 2015 · New Work
The Southpaw team has had the pleasure to collaborate with the Mayor’s office in New Orleans on an exciting new project called Katrina 10: Resilient New Orleans.
Launched to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s devastation of New Orleans, this project aims to catalog and share a wealth of recovery-related data across a broad spectrum of sectors: from Education Reform to Disaster Recovery to Civic Engagement.
Southpaw Creative was brought in to develop a brand identity for the project, a comprehensive website, and a series of data sheets for each of the recovery sectors.
A full project feature will be posted to our site later this summer. In the meantime, feel free to peruse the website katrina10.org to learn all about the recovery efforts from the last decade.
Special thanks to team members Erin Allen (web development) and Michael Costelloe (design and illustration).
